Whatsapp currently has an API that allows businesses to link their existing applications to customer support chats.

This is how Meta makes money with this service.

Companies will not be able to send a message to clients on WhatsApp unless they have requested to be contacted, according to Meta, the firm that bought WhatsApp for $19 billion in 2014.

WhatsApp has also stated that the premium service of its dedicated business app for small enterprises will include optional paid features.

Features for managing chats across 10 devices are currently in development.

It will also offer customized click-to-chat buttons that companies may share with their customers on their websites.
